But before proceeding to the official download page, make sure you read the following important points about the SP1 RC.
# You need to uninstall SP1 beta before installing the Release Candidate
# Download size is 514.7 MB (x86) and 865.4 MB (x64)
# The RC will expire on November 30, 2011. You will be reminded beginning August 30, 2011.
# You can’t upgrade from the RC build to the final build of SP1.
# Adds watermark at the bottom right of the desktop
# Includes hundreds of hotfixes and security updates
# Service Pack 1 final will be released within the first half of calendar year 2011

Will the service pack for windows 7 include the fix for netlogin event 5719 where the network drives sometimes don’t get mapped at startup?
