Accelerate Foreground Process Automatically With Mz CPU Accelerator

Windows Vista comes with a cool feature using which you can change the default CPU priority of the application. That is, you can assign high priority to an active application, making it work faster. But you need to go through a small procedure to make this happen in Vista as it can only be accessed by opening the Task Manager.

CPU

This feature might not come in handy when you want to switch between multiple applications in a short span of time since you need to repeat the same procedure, when an application goes from foreground to background. There is a software named Mz CPU Accelerator that automatically applies high priority (or any assigned) to the foreground process, making it easier to change the priority.

Obviously, the freeware also de-allocates the previously assigned high priority when an application moves to background. This makes a sense as you need not to open the Task Manger each time.

This tiny application gives general information like CPU usage, and Clock Speed of the processor as well. Another notable feature is that you can exclude any application from optimizing so that it will remain untouched even if the process comes to foreground. Users can also assign desired priority to any number of applications so that Mz CPU Accelerator assigns the pre-defined priority when an application is launched.

CPU Accelerator can work from the system tray and can also display the CPU usage level at the system tray. The application can run at system startup to handle the processes better than ever.
