Accounts Tuner To Tweak And Secure Windows 7 User Account Settings

Accounts Tuner is a tiny application for Windows 7 which lets you change the default User Account settings so that you can secure your user account with just a few mouse clicks. This free utility allows you change various settings associated with your user account such as password age, minimum password length, and more.

Here are the list of settings that can be changed using Accounts Tuner:

# Disable account

# Lock account

# Prevent users from changing the current password

# Maximum password age

# Minimum password age

# Minimum password length

# Number of wrong password count before lockout

# Lockout duration

# Bad password timeout

# Password history length

Other than the above mentioned tweaks, you can view last logon (date and time), current password age, total logon count, and bad password count by running this free application.

Accounts Tuner is a handy application to secure your user account by changing the default account settings. This is a freeware and works fine on both x86 and x64 versions of Windows 7.

Please note that this utility doesn’t let you change, enable or disable User Account Account (UAC).
