Every Windows user knows how to set a picture as desktop background in Windows. Right-clicking on the picture and then clicking Set as desktop background option does the job. Wouldn’t it be really cool if there was a similar option in the context menu to change the default logon screen background as well?
There are dozens of free utilities available to change the default logon screen background of Windows 7 and there is even a cool tool to automatically change the logon background but none of these tools allow you set logon screen picture right from the context menu. The good news is that there is a free tool available now to add Set as logon background option to the right-click menu.
Users who are following IntoWindows for a long time probably know about the Logon Screen utility. The developer of Logon Screen tool has updated the software with new features and it now lets you change logon background with a right-click! All you need to do is, just right-click on the picture file that you wish to see as logon background and then click Set as logon background option. Once the job is done, you will see “Logon background successfully changed” message.
Another best thing about this utility is that you can launch the tool from the desktop context menu if you want to change text and button style of logon screen. So, we recommend this tool to all Windows 7 customization lovers.
Logon Screen supports both x86 and x64 Windows 7 systems but it doesn’t work on Windows 8. Also note that the installer of Logon Screen offers you install Hotspot Shield and set MyStart as your default search engine. Select “I do not want to install Hotspot Shield” option if you don’t want to install the program.
