Tried this service when my DVD Drive was no longer showing up in My Computer. Was excited to discover if the device was kaput or just needed new drivers or what.ATS Service told me it could not mount my drive for diagnostics because it was not mounted. This circular logic = if something is broken we can't help you... so I tried the help chat. The human was only flowchart smart and unwilling so speculate more. Not a tech-head like we need.Plus, it leaves a nice folder on you HD after the experience called Microsoft ATS. Pass on this service if you can.

April 2010. Tried this service when my DVD Drive was no longer showing up in My Computer. If these guys have failed to solve millions of problems via emails and phone; how dare do they start boasting about online live solutions on users' computers? That is just some piece of JUNK designed to steal users' information about if the software used is GENUINE or NOT, nothing else.I'd rather NUKE my COMPUTER'S HARD DISC and reinstall WINDOWS than seeking Microsoft ONLINE ASSISTANCE because the time I'd spend waiting for something to happen I'd use it to do more creative things in the Information and Technology such as coding another website of my client, design another database or build another TOOL.No thank you Microsoft Customer Support.

I don’t think Microsoft can solve customer problems.
