Backup Firefox Profile With Mozilla Restorer
Posted December 29, 2008 – 4:27 pm in: Firefox, Freeware, SoftwareWe spend considerable amount of time in customizing the Firefox browser and installing useful plug-ins for our favorite browser. Though we like to customize browser accordingly, it’s painful to do the same task every time we re-install the browser.
For folks who re-install Firefox often, I have a cool tool which backs up your Firefox profile for free! Obviously you can restore the profile using the same tool. The name is Mozilla Restorer.
Download the tool from the below source and install it on your system. Start up the program and just browse the destination drive to save the profile and then click Backup button. That’s it! Within few seconds you have a backup copy of your profile which can also be used on other systems.
One cooler feature is that Mozilla Restorer also supports Mozilla Thunderbird. I don’t like to elaborate about the Thunderbird as I haven’t tested it yet!
