IObit Uninstaller: Batch Uninstaller For Windows 7/8/8.1

In Windows 8.1, Microsoft has introduced a nifty way to quickly uninstall multiple Modern apps at once without using third-party tools. Although Windows 8.1 shows the uninstall option even when you have selected multiple desktop programs, clicking the uninstall button opens up Programs and Features which we all use to uninstall programs and updates. So, Windows 8, as with its predecessors, doesn’t let you batch uninstall desktop programs.

To uninstall multiple programs at once using IObit Uninstaller, download it from the webpage mentioned at the end of this article, fire up the program (it’s portable), make sure that you are in All programs tab, check the option titled Batch uninstall to see options to select multiple programs, select programs that you wish to batch install, and then click Uninstall button to start uninstalling all selected programs.

Upon clicking the Uninstall button, you’ll see a confirmation dialog. Click Ok button to continue uninstalling selected programs.

While IObit Uninstaller silently uninstalls most programs, some programs such as Paint.net requires manual intervention. Once Uninstaller completes its business, you will see an option to scan your PC for any leftover items in the Registry (available in Advanced uninstall mode only).

The other cool feature of IObit Uninstaller is Force Uninstaller which enables remove programs that can’t be uninstalled from Programs and Features. Click the More option located next to caption buttons (minimize, maximize and close buttons) to launch Force Uninstaller. In order to force uninstall a program, you need to either browse to the program file or provide the exact name of the program.

    I really like dUninstaller. It doesn’t require any installation, it doesn’t install any third party applications, and it does a good job of finding installed programs.
