Recently my three year old PC was not running up to the mark. After doing every possible tweak to get back it on track, I decided to check the health of 160GB Seagate drive. After testing with three free and one paid tool, I was impressed with the performance and the features of HD Tune utility. So, decided to share the utility here.

HD Tune is a free Hard Disk utility which allows you to measure performance, check health of hard disk, scan the surface for errors and monitors the temperature of the hard disk for free.
