That is, if a program icon is appearing in the notification area even after uninstalling the application, you can clear it with Notification Area Cleaner.
This program basically resets all notification are icons and keeps only the active ones. This tool does some changes to TrayNotify registry key. Simply run this tool, click Clean button and wait for a few seconds to see Done message.
