Confirmed: Build 7600 Isn’t Windows 7 RTM
Posted July 14, 2009 – 2:29 pm in: Windows 7It’s official. Leaked build 7600 is not the Windows 7 RTM build. Many sites and forums are reporting that the leaked Windows 7 build 7600 as the RTM build. But the truth is that it’s just another leaked Windows 7 build.
Windows 7 team blog has cleared the speculation on RTM build stating “We are close, but have not yet signed off on Windows 7". The team blog also reported that Windows 7 RTM build will be compiled in the 2nd half of July.
Meanwhile, the team blog also warned about the infected Windows 7 builds that are floating around the web. So you can keep your fingers crossed for the next few days to see the RTM build.
