Customize Places Bar Using Places Bar Editor
Posted May 23, 2009 – 7:29 pm in: FreewareMany Windows users find it difficult to browse through the Places Bar items. Although Windows Vista comes with a better Places Bar, customizing the Places Bar items is always a good idea to improve the navigation.
We can edit the Places Bar through Windows registry, or Group Policy editor. Editing through the Group Policy is simple, but Group Policy editor is not available in all the Windows editions.
Places Bar editor is a free and easy-to-use tool that lets you edit the default places bar buttons easily. It lets you add/remove buttons and paths.
Another advantage with this tool is that you can save the customized Places Bar scheme and then load it using the same program.
