Digsby is a multipurpose and all-in-one internet program that comes with instant messaging, email notifications and Social networking features.

Digsby is a multiprotocol instant messaging application which lets you chat with almost all IM clients including AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, Google Talk, and Jabber with a simple user interface.

Digsby also works as an email notification application that alerts the user with a popup notification whenever there is a new email in your inbox. Email notification feature also lets you delete and report spam actions right from Digsby. And the third feature is Social Networking. This feature informs you about new messages and gives you a live newsfeed of what your friends are up to.

Basically, this application is just 4.4MB download installer and takes few MBs on your hard disk.

Instant Messaging features:

*Supports MSN, Google Talk, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, Jabber, and Facebook chat accounts.

* Supports tabbed conversation windows so that you can easily manage multiple conversations.

Email Notification features:

Social Networking features:

* Up-to-date information about events happening on Twitter, Facebook, My Space, and LinkedIn accounts.

* Get alerts for new friend requests, group invites, messages, etc.

* Get real-time newsfeed.

I can’t write-down all the features of Digsby since it has a big list. You need to install this freeware beauty to experience it. Basically, this application is just 4.4MB download installer and takes few MBs on your hard disk.

    When I tried to install Digsby the “iq installer” wanted to install a tracking cookie, pus modify my registry. I couldn’t “decline” I either had to “accept” them adding this stuff or cancle the install.

    Guess which one I did?

    Digsby used to be good, but I’ve heard alot about thier bed sharing with spyware programs and all sorts being dumped on your pc, starting with the very installer!!!

    No thanks.
