The desktop gadget concept was originally introduced with Windows Vista and it’s been enhanced in Windows 7. In Windows 7, gadgets can be placed anywhere on the desktop and it now includes a gadget manager to access all installed gadgets from one place.

Gadgets are small apps that offer quick access to news, drives/folders, and other information right on the desktop. For example, you can use a the default CPU Meter gadget to view your system performance without opening the Task Manager.

A few days ago, we covered 20 useful gadgets for your Windows 7 desktop. The guide showcases some of the best gadgets available on the official Windows Live Gallery page. While gadgets that we covered in the useful gadgets are brilliant and most of them are not so elegant and may look not so great on your Windows 7 desktop, especially on Windows 7 editions that support Aero.

A deviantart member has crafted a total of 14 awesome gadgets for Windows 7 desktop and has packed all 14 into a single file so that Windows 7 users can quickly download and install them.

To install one or more gadgets from this pack, follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Download the gadgets pack.

Step 2: Extract the 7Zip pack to desktop to see Gadgets folder. You may need to download the 7-Zip software.

Step 3: Open the folder, double-click on an item and finally click Install button.

Step 4: You are done!

    i would like u to introduce one important gadget for easy access for the users.Its the time zone gadget to know where and what the time is going at present?would you assist this unique feature?i am sure there could be no doubt or any impossibility in presenting this gadget?
