About a year ago, Nero surprised everyone by releasing Nero BurnLite software, a stripped-down version of popular Nero Burning software. Nero has just updated its free disc burning software Nero BurnLite to v10 and is available to download now.

The latest version of Nero BurnLite free is fully compatible with Windows 7 and later versions. The download size is just 31 MB and can be downloaded from the below mentioned link. This free Nero software offers data burning and disc copying features for CDs and DVDs.     this program in it’s disabled form is a joke. can’t believe you see fit to promote it. no mention that it installs the Ask toolbar whether you like it or not. shame on ya!

    Installs MS Silverlight even if you disable it. Can be deinstalled again, not necessary for this program. And no, this reduced program is not a joke. It handles images completely, even hybrid CDs. Try this with the other toys…

    1. They don’t mention beforehand, that the Ask toolbar is mandatory. Bad.

    2. Once setup has started, the only way to keep the toolbar from installing is killing the process through task manager. Real, real ugly.

    I downloaded nero 10 but the program can not burn a disk unless I download the burning file and this will cost $4.00. I stay in South Africa . How do I sort this out ? I also down loaded the newer versiom to try it out but again wont burn untill i purchase the program whats the point trying a product out before one buys it , as one cant see the end results. Would like to see your comment on this. Thanks, David

    the program that you should get to burn oh i meant to say to back- up your dvd’s is DVD shrink. its also a free program but it will back-up almost any dvd.

    Recently purchased vs 11 as my vs 9 is no longer supported on my upgraded server – now running Windows Server 2008 R2.

    Failed to install as vs 11 does not seem to support Windows Server 2008 R2.

    Can I replace the vs 11 with a version that does support Windows Server 2008 R2 on my existing purchase order “Confirmation of your order 207237348 in the Nero Online Shop” ?
