As I have said in the past, since Microsoft incorporates new features & changes in each and every build of Windows 7, it’s very hard to come with a good transformation pack at present. We have seen a many new changes and improvements in the recently leaked build 7057.

Windows 7 theme in Vista

Most users playing with either build 7000 or 7057 these days. If you are still on Vista and aren’t planning to install the latest build of Windows 7, then you might want try Windows 7 build 7057 transformation pack for Vista.

Media Player 12 for Vista

Unlike the old Vista transformation pack, Windows 7 transformation pack comes with no installers. That is, Windows 7 transformation pack comes with only the system files that are required to get the look of Windows 7 build 7057. The pack has been packed with following items.

1. Windows 7 theme

2. Windows 7 build 7057 logon screen (need to use Tune Up Utilities). If you don’t wish to install Tune Up Utilities, follow my “How to get Windows 7 build 7057 logon screen in Vista” guide.

3. Windows Media Player 12 for Vista

4. User Pictures

5. Wallpapers from both build 7048 & 7057

This pack doesn’t come with build 7057 sound schemes (there are 13 new schemes in 7048 & 7057). You can download 7057 sound schemes from here.

The transformation pack also comes with a detailed implementation guide. So I think it’s needless to write another implementation guide here. Having said that, if you face any problems, just leave a comment.

    Hi,
I downloaded and installed the 7057 build last week. However It seems that my personal firewall from Zonealarm seems its not working on it. The system though has detected that Zonealarm is installed and turned off “Windows Defender” Any guidance would be very helpful.

You might need to install an internet security program like KIS or NIS since there are many complaints about Zonealarm. If possible, try to reinstall the Zonealarm program.
