Posted March 21, 2009 – 4:34 am in: Freeware, SoftwaresAs you probably now, Windows 7 allows the user to change the logon screen background without the help of any hacks or tools. Unlike XP and Vista you need not to use any third-party utilities to change the logon screen background in Windows 7.
User can change the logon screen background without any tools or hacks using my “How to change Windows 7 logon screen background” guide. If you don’t wish to follow the lengthy procedure, here is a small utility that helps you change the logon screen easily.
Steve Sinchak of Tweaks.com has created a free utility that changes the Windows 7 logon screen background. Run the utility and just input the logon screen background image file you want to set by hitting the browse button at the bottom and click Test button to apply the new background.
User can also revert to the default logon screen by using Revert to Default Logon Screen button. However note that the new logon screen file size should be less than 256 KB.
