July 22, 1999: Release of MSN Messenger
July 20, 2000: The third version of MSN messenger releases with easy photo and document sharing
July 16, 2003: MSN Messenger launches several revolutionary feature including games, video chatting, and more
July 20, 2006: MSN Messenger officially becomes Windows Live Messenger
July 22, 2009: Live Messenger is now available in 36 languages, and Windows Live Messenger gets over 330 million monthly visitors.
