The a-squared HiJackFree is a complete, free and handy suite for keeping tab on your system security.
Autoruns feature lets you edit all autorun entries. You can easily edit over 30 different autorun locations with the help of autoruns feature. Additionally it shows the autoruns in files like win.ini, system.ini, autoexe.bat and config.sys.
Services manager allows you view all installed and running services, and also it shows the full path to the executable service file in the list to help identifying potential harmful services quickly. The best part of services manager is that it also shows the services that are not shown in the Windows services manager.
The process tab shows all running processes with details such as file properties, online information, loaded modules and process details. The Active-X section shows all installed Active-X modules (DLLs) on the system.

I am not a computer’guru’… i am very dependent on others to help me…well I WAS very dependent on others…spent tons of money in past making my PC work. Since I discovered ‘intowindows’ and their free downloads I am now a guru to my wife and friends! Two programs stand out in making this possible: Winshampoo and now this Advanced System Care Free… ASC is outstanding: fast and thorough. When I am flush again (business down, income not good right now) I fully intend to purchase the ‘Pro’ versions of these programs. Meantime I thank God and ‘intowindows’ for keeping my computer alive.
