Firefox 3.5 RC1 Available, Update Now
Posted June 17, 2009 – 10:12 am in: FirefoxAs reported earlier, Mozilla has released the Firefox 3.5 RC1 today. Many Windows users were fed up with the frequent crash of Firefox 3.5 beta versions. So the RC1 should fix all problems.
The release candidate is based on Gecko 1.9.1 rendering platform, which has been under development for the past year.

# Available in more than 70 languages
# Improved private browsing mode
# Improved performance and stability
# Ability to provide location aware browsing
# Improved Gecko layout engine
# Support for new web technologies such as: HTML5 <video> and <audio> elements, downloadable fonts and other new CSS properties, JavaScript query selectors, HTML5 offline data storage for applications, and SVG transforms.
Existing Firefox 3.5 Beta users can get the latest version by entering Help > Check for updates. You can download the RC1 from the link given below.
