First Test Update For Windows 7 RC Released

As reported earlier by Into Windows, Microsoft published the first test update for Windows 7 Release Candidate today. The first set of test updates were released to Windows 7 beta back in February.
Test updates for Windows 7 RC will not impact the operating system in any way. It’s just a test update! Note that Microsoft releasing test updates only to Windows 7 RC in order to verify its ability to deliver and manage updating of Windows 7 in certain real-life scenarios. These updates do not deliver any new features or fixes. Microsoft will be releasing a total of 10 test updates for Windows 7 RC.
How to install test update (s)?
These updates are available via Windows updates. Type in Update in your Start menu search field and hit enter. Then, in the left pane, hit the option named Check for updates. You will see new test update(s).
