Fix Disc Burning Failure Issue In Windows 7
Posted February 18, 2010 – 4:08 pm in: Windows 7 GuidesIf you have been experiencing issues while burning files to a DVD-R Dual Layer disc in Window 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, you can now download a hotfix to fix this problem.
According to Microsoft, when you try to burn files to a Dual Layer DVD-R disk in Windows Explorer, the operation may fail with a time-out error. This problem also occurs if you use an application that uses Image Mastering API version 2.0 (IMAPI v2) to burn files. Simply download the hotfix, install and reboot your Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 machine to fix the issue.
