How To Change User Account Picture In Windows 7
Posted July 7, 2009 – 3:49 pm in: Windows 7 GuidesYet another small tip to customize your Windows 7. Generally user picture is a small image that is associated with your account name and shown on Start menu and welcome screen. Windows lets you customize this picture with your own picture.
1. To change the user account picture, right-click on desktop and select Personalize.
2. In the left pane, click on the entry named "Change user account picture".
3. Select a picture from the available ones or use Browse for more pictures option to use any other picture. Note that the picture use like to use as account picture must have one of the following file name extensions: .jpg, .png, .bmp, or .gif.
4. Once you select your account picture, click on the change picture button to save your new image as your account picture.
5. Open the Start menu to see your new account picture.
