Password Reset Disk allows you to change the password which you have forgot over time. To create a password reset disk you need to have a USB drive or floppy or CD.How to create Password Reset Disk In Vista:
1.Log on to the account for which you want to create password reset disk.

2.Go to Control Panel>Open User Accounts
3.In the left side ‘Tasks’ pane, click on ‘Create a password reset disk’.

When you don’t know the password during login process, select the option ‘Change the password’ option in the logon screen and follow the procedure.(Don’t forget to use your password reset disk!)
