How To Disable Aero Shake In Windows 7
Posted July 15, 2009 – 10:36 pm in: Windows 7Most of the Windows 7 users are familiar with Windows 7 Aero Shake feature. For those who don’t know or have never used Aero Shake- you can use Shake to quickly minimize every open window except the one you’re shaking.
This feature can save you time if you want to focus on a single window without minimizing all your other open windows one by one. You can then restore all of those windows by shaking the open window again.
Now if you don’t like Aero Shake feature, you can simply disable it by following the steps below:
1. Type in gpedit.msc in Start menu search field and hit enter.
2. In the Group Policy Editor, navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Desktop and locate the option named Turn off Aero Shake window minimizing mouse gesture.
3. Right-click on the entry > select edit or double-click on the entry.
4. Select option named "Disabled" and click apply to see the changes.
5. That’s it.

Why would you be shaking a window if not to use the feature? I you felt the need to disable it, you probably wouldn’t know it was there in the first place!
I think because the option is to “turn off” aeroshake, you actually want to “enable” it. In any case, helped me out, thanks!
