How To Hide Windows 7 Navigation Pane Library Folders

By default, you can view Document, Music, Pictures and Videos folders (under Libraries) in Windows 7 explorer navigation pane. You can also add one or more folders to Libraries list by simply clicking include in library button.
If you don’t use one or more library folder, rather than deleting the library, you can simply hide one or more folders under Libraries easily.
Here is how you can hide one or more folders under libraries in Windows 7 in explorer:
1. Open Windows explorer.
2. Right-click on the folder under Libraries and select Properties.
3. Uncheck the box named Shown in navigation pane.
4. Click Apply button.
5. Done.
To unhide a folder:
1. Open Windows explorer.
2. Click on Libraries to explore Libraries.
3. Right-click on the folder and then select Properties.
4. Check the box named Shown in navigation pane and click Apply.
