How To Increase The Number Of Simultaneous Downloads In Firefox

Few hours back, I blogged about “How to increase number of simultaneous Downloads in IE7″ and now, writing the same tweak for Firefox. To make this happen in Firefox we need to change the default value in “about:config” option.
Below are the instructions:
1. Firstly, open Firefox browser, and type “about:config” in the address bar.

2. Click “I’ll be careful, I promise!” button to enter the next step.
3. Locate the option named “network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server”.

4. Double click on “network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server” and replace the default value with 7(use below 10 only)
5. Good. You have done it. Restart Firefox and enjoy downloading!
