Installing a new font has always been an easy job in Windows operating system. You just had to download a font and double-click on the font to install it.
There are thousands of free fonts available out there on the internet. But the problem is that it’s hard to find a trusted source to download fonts. Except Google Fonts, there are not many trusted places to browse and download fonts for free.
If you often need to download fonts on your Windows 10 PC, you will be happy to know that you can now download new fonts from the official Windows Store for Windows 10.
Starting with build 17083 (RS4 build), Microsoft has started offering fonts in the Store, making it easier for users to download and install new fonts in Windows 10.
In 17086 and later builds, a new page called Fonts can be found under the Personalization category of Settings app. The Fonts page not only allows you view installed fonts but also enables you to download new fonts from the Windows Store.
As of writing this article, the Store offers less than a dozen fonts, but you can expect a good number of fonts in a few months.
