How To Open A Program In Minimized, Maximized or Normal Window
Posted December 11, 2009 – 5:49 pm in: Windows 7 TweaksUsers who have a PC with small screen or netbook users might always want to open programs in maximized mode for obvious reason. And users who have large screen/s, say 24”. may want to open applications in normal window.
You can change the behavior of an application so that the application will be launched in minimized, maximized or normal window. Although minimizing or maximizing a window is very simple with Windows 7 keyboard shortcuts (use Windows + up or down arrow keys) you might like to see an application automatically launching in minimized, maximized or normal window.
Here is how to do it:
1. Right-click on the program shortcut in Start menu or Desktop and then select Properties.
2. Under the Shortcut tab, you will see Run option.
3. Select Minimized, Maximized or Normal window from the drop down box, next to the Run.
4. Once you select the appropriate window type, click Apply button to save the change.
5. That’s it. Open the program to see the change.
