How To Pin Recycle Bin Icon To Windows 7 Taskbar
Posted June 2, 2009 – 5:45 pm in: Windows 7 GuidesIn the last post, we showed you how to pin Computer icon to the Windows 7 taskbar. Once you add Computer icon to Taskbar, you may want to delete Recycle Bin from the desktop and pin it to the taskbar.
Just like in the case of computer icon, you can’t pin Recycle Bin to the Taskbar easily. Here we will show you the steps to make it happen.
Follow the same procedure that we have mentioned in the “Pin Computer to Windows 7 taskbar” post. In step 2, you need to enter this code instead of the Computer icon code.
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe shell:RecycleBinFolder

Unfortunately, this method cannot dynamically change the recycle bin icon if there is trash in the recycle bin or if it’s empty.
I can’t seem to empty the recycle bin or even drag and drop anything to it
