How To Publish/Post/Upload A Video To YouTube From Windows Live Movie Maker
Posted August 20, 2009 – 2:21 pm in: Internet, Windows LiveThe all new out of beta Windows Live Movie Maker has many new features. One of the feature that is handy for both YouTube and Movie Maker lovers is that one can now easily publish/post/upload a video directly to the popular video sharing site YouTube.
As Microsoft has shutdown its own video sharing site Soapbox recently, YouTube is the best choice for uploading and sharing your videos.
You can publish/post a video to YouTube from Windows Live Movie Maker by following the given steps given below:
1. Launch Windows Live Movie Maker.
2. Create or edit your video by using the over 60 transitions, 18 pan and zoom options, and 20 visual effects.
3. Click on the YouTube icon available at the top, enter your YouTube username & password to proceed to the next step.
4. In the following dialog box, enter video title, description, tags, category and permission, and finally click on the Publish button.
5. YouTube uploading process may take few seconds to minutes depending on the size of your video file, & internet connection speed. Note that Windows Live Movie Maker uploads the video to YouTube at 1280 x 720, which is a HD (high – definition).
6. Once the upload process is done, you will see “successfully published” message. (Again note that YouTube takes a while to complete the process). That’s all!
