I am very certain that most of the people are unaware of this magnificent free tool which is a must have for every computer user. How many of you have scratched CDs with important data? I have close to 50 CD/DVDs which doesn’t open/show the data even if you use considerably good tools.

CDDD

The only tool that made me to keep all these CD/DVDs till data is CD Recovery Toolbox. You won’t believe but I have recovered almost 90% of the data from all my scratched CD/DVDS and also from my friends age old CDs.

There are many reasons behind why the CD/DVD becomes unreadable. Main reasons are physical damage and inappropriate burning. In my opinion our good friends often become killers of our valuable CD/DVDs who borrow our CD/DVDs rapidly (at least in my case).

Coming back to CD Recovery Toolbox, the tool lets you recover data from scratched and unreadable CD and DVDs easily.

There are many other tools such as CD Reader, JFile Recovery, CD Data Rescue, CDCheck and Power CD DVD Recovery which work similar to CD Recovery Toolbox but in my opinion CD Recovery Toolbox stands out from the rest of the crowd not just because it’s free but also because of its ultimate performance.

The download is just 653 KB and can be downloaded from the below link. Once you install the utility, start it up and also insert the CD/DVD from which you would like to recover the data. Click next if you have already placed CD/DVD in the optical drive and wait till CD Recovery Toolbox displays the content of the disc.

The next step is to select a folder or drive location to save the content from the disc. Again click next and select the files and folders you would like to recover from CD/DVD. Of course you can select all files shown in the list. Just click Save button and sit back for few minutes to get your data in the folder.
