How To: Remove Delay Time During Add-on Installation In Firefox
Posted December 22, 2008 – 8:05 am in: FirefoxAs you might have observed when you download and try to install any new Firefox plug-ins/add-ons you need to wait for 5 seconds as Firefox starts countdown time just before presenting the Install button .I am not sure why this feature(?) was introduced in Firefox but I can show you how one get rid of this Firefox count-on time.

Are you ready to get rid of this? All that needs to be done is tweak Firefox a bit using below procedure:
1. Open Firefox and type about:config in the address bar as shown below.

2. Click I’ll be careful, I promise button to go ahead.
3. Type security.dialog_enable_delay and change its value to 0 from the default value.

4. Restart your Firefox and install any plug-in without the irritation of countdown time.
5. Have fun!
