How To Reset/Restore Desktop Icons In Windows 7

Very recently we blogged about how to use custom icons for Windows 7 desktop computer icon . Our reader “Nineetu” has asked any way to reset to default Windows 7 icons?
Well, that’s pretty easy. To reset any or all customized desktop icons in Windows 7, follow the simple instructions given below:
1. Right-click on desktop and select Personalize.
2. From the left pane, click on Change desktop icons.
3. Under Desktop Icon Settings, select the icon, which you want to reset to default.
4. Click on the Restore Default button to reset the icon to the default Windows 7 icon.
Note that if you would like to reset all desktop icons like Computer & Recycle Bin, you need to select all the icons one by one and then click on Restore Default button.
