How To Restore Last Browsing Session In IE8

One of the features that I admire about Firefox is its ability to restore previous browsing session on the star-up, which is very convenient if you close the browser often. If you have used Firefox for some time, I am sure that you will look for this feature in Internet Explorer.

Although Internet Explorer doesn’t allow restoring previous browsing session automatically on start-up, it does allow you restore previous browsing session manually after the start-up. That means, it won’t load previous sessions on start-up but you can always use an option that opens your previous sessions at any time.

Reopen last browsing session

To restore previous browsing session in Internet Explorer 8, just go to Tools menu and click on reopen last browsing session option. That’s it.

Although you can’t restore last session now, you can restore all sites that you did open using History page. Use Ctrl + H shortcut to open all the sites that you previously opened.

I accidentally re-booted after an update and it automatically opened up a new page in IE8 without
giving me the option of “Open last browsing session”. When I went to open history by date, the only option
is to open tabs for today, not yesterday or beyond as in Firefox. What to do? Any help?

Didn’t work. It only re-opened a single tab, whereas 2 windows with several tabs existed in a second window at computer shut-down. Lost now :( grrr!

wait for a request or do it automatically
    if automatic
you let the next person know what my business was on
    the last session
    creates avenue of fraud.
