How To Uninstall, Disable, Or Remove Internet Explorer 8

The recently released Internet Explorer 8 is not just another version of Internet Explorer. It has many new good features such as accelerators, web slices, and In private browsing.
Although IE 8 might lack the speed of Chrome, security of Firefox, it does offer a bunch of good features that make it as decent one. But if you use Google Chrome, or Firefox as your default browser, then you might want to uninstall Internet Explorer from your Windows 7.
Unlike earlier versions of Windows, Windows 7 allows you uninstall Internet Explorer in a few steps. To do this, follow the instructions given below.
1. Type in appwiz.cpl or programs and features in Start menu search field and hit enter to launch Windows Programs and features.
2. In the left pane, click on Turn Windows features on or off.
3. Uncheck the box named Internet Explorer 8 and click OK.
4. Click Yes for the message and once again, click Ok button to start the process.
5. Reboot your computer to finish IE8 uninstall process.
