Installing Windows 7 SP1 (Service Pack 1)

As you may know, Microsoft revealed Windows 7 SP1 details for the first time just a few days back and now we have Windows 7 SP1 beta in our hands. The SP1 for Windows 7 contains updates and minor usability fixes.

Installing Windows 7 SP1 is similar to Vista service packs. The time required to install this Service Pack largely depends on your system configuration and speed. Also note that one need to have installed Windows 7 RTM (build 7600) to install SP1. Here is how to install Windows 7 SP1:

 

# Run Windows 7 SP1 installer and click Next button to view the license agreement.

 Install Windows 7 Service Pack 1

# Accept the license agreement and then click Install button to stat installing service pack contents.

# Your system will be rebooted twice during service pack installation. Once finished, you will see Windows 7 Service Pack 1 is now installed message.

# Click the close button to finish the installation procedure. You are done!

Note: Please don’t install any leaked version of Windows 7 SP1.

    Very Fast.. Probably because it isn’t installing much.. If you have been keeping your comp up to date (as you should be) the installer doesn’t have much work to do.

    In installation of Sp1 in De os 32 bit it stucks at a particular point for a long period of time . What to do??????
