Lion Icon Pack For Windows 8 Developer Preview
Posted November 6, 2011 – 7:30 pm in: FreewareIt’s been almost two months since Microsoft released Windows 8 Developer Preview build to public. Users who have installed Windows 8 WP build might have noticed that the latest Windows OS carries icons from Vista and Windows 7. That is, Microsoft has not updated the old icons to add a new touch to the latest Windows OS.
If you are one of those who want to change the look of default icons may like to install third-party icon pack to spice up the latest version of Windows. Lion Icon Pack for Windows 8 is nice icon pack from the makers of Windows 8 Transformation Pack and Lion Transformation Pack.
The pack automatically replaces the default Windows icons with Mac OS X Lion icons. Please note that the icon pack is available for both x86 and x64 versions of Windows 8.
Don’t forget to create a manual system restore point before installing the icon pack. The restore point will help you revert to the default set of icons without any issues.
Do note that the icon pack tries to install Skin Pack DB Toolbar, and also tries to set Skin Pack DB as default homepage. So, if you don’t like to install the toolbar, then select custom installation method and then untick Skin Pack DB related options.
In addition to icons, the pack also includes Mac OS X Lion cursors and wallpaper.

I like Windows 7. Generally, if one version of windows is good, then the next is not, vice versa.
But this time, I am pretty sure that Windows 8 will be very good!
Lets wait and see…
