Maxifier: Ultimate Media Center Control Panel & Tweaker For Windows 7
Posted February 18, 2010 – 5:33 pm in: FreewareMaxifier is a small tool for Windows 7 and Vista Media Center to quickly access media Center features right from the notification area (system tray area) and also to tweak its settings.
The main purpose of this tool is to help users with multi-monitor setup. By default, when Media Center is running with maximized window on the second screen, Media Center captures the mouse so you can’t move it on to the main screen. This tool maximises Media Center on the second screen, but also allows you keep control of the mouse.
Once you installed this tool, a small icon sits in the notification area that allows you quick access to options such as Live TV, Music Library, Picture Library, Video Library, Recordings and more. Of course, you may launch Media Center right from the Maxifier system tray icon as well.
On top that it also lets you create hot keys to quickly access Media Center’s features. One can also alter the start-up page of Media Center with Maxifier. Overall this is a good tweaking tool for Media Center in Windows 7 and Vista.
