Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) 2009 Released

MDOP is a dynamic desktop solution, available to Software Assurance customers, that employs innovative technologies to increase desktop manageability, reduce the total cost of ownership, and improve overall infrastructure satisfaction.
MDOP is a pack of great six technologies: Microsoft Application Virtualization, Microsoft Asset Inventory Service, Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset, Microsoft Advanced Group Policy Management, Microsoft System Center Desktop Error Monitoring, and Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization.
Volume License customers are also eligible to acquire an optional subscription license for the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack for Software Assurance. This suite of technologies helps you reduce application deployment costs, deliver applications as services, and exercise better management and control of enterprise desktop environments.
