Microsoft Office 2007 SP2 Released
Posted April 28, 2009 – 7:26 pm in: Microsoft OfficeAs expected, Microsoft released SP2 (Service Pack 2) to for its Microsoft Office 2007 suite today.
The service pack includes major performance enhancements for Office applications, most notably Microsoft Office Outlook, as well as Microsoft Office SharePoint Server. One big benefit is SP2’s boost to interoperability — with this release, Office supports additional built-in file formats such as PDF and ODF.
Office 2007 SP2 includes previously unreleased fixes that were made specifically for this service pack and all public updates, security updates, cumulative updates, and hotfixes that were released through February 2009.
It can be remembered that Office 2007 SP2 was leaked few weeks back. Though the Office 2007 SP2 download page has some problems right now, it should work fine after few minutes.
