Microsoft Security Essentials (Morro) Is Here
Posted June 18, 2009 – 2:56 pm in: FreewareThe unofficial Microsoft Security Essentials is here. The Microsoft Security Essentials, code named Morro, has been leaked to the internet few hours back. Users are downloading the new security suite to experience the new free Microsoft Security Essentials.
As you might know, the Microsoft Security Essentials suite is a replacement for Windows Live OneCare. Microsoft Security Essentials protects your Windows from viruses, spywares, rootkits and trojans. Since it is a free program, you will not get all the advanced security solutions that you get in a paid one. Both 32 and 64 bit versions have been leaked and available to download.
Note that since the program is just in the preliminary stage, installing Microsoft Security Essentials at this stage is not recommended especially on a network connected system.
