We rely on cloud services more and more these days. A large section of smartphone users prefer backing up files and photos on their phones to the cloud storage services such as Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive and iCloud from Apple.
Though most cloud services are reliable, some of you might want to backup your files, pictures and contacts from your smartphone to traditional CD/DVDs.
As you know, none of the mobile operating systems allows you burn files directly to a CD/DVD without transferring files to computers. In other words, we need to transfer our files from smartphone to PC first and then use a CD/DVD burning application to burn all files to CD/DVDs.
Those of you prefer the traditional CD/DVDs to backup your contents from your smartphone will be delighted to know that it’s now possible to burn files right from your smartphone over the air.
Nero AirBurn for Android and iOS
Nero has just released a free app labelled Nero AirBurn to help Android and iOS (iOS app isn’t available in the store yet) users burn data right from their mobiles without having to move files to computers. In other words, you can now perform CD/DVD/Blu-ray burning operations over the air.
Even though Nero AirBurn app is free, you need to have installed Nero 15 products on your PC in order to be able to burn files from your iPhone or Android device. What this means is that you must have installed Nero 2015 Platinum, Nero 2015 Classic, or Nero Burning ROM 2015 software on your PC. Obviously, you need to shell out for Nero desktop software.
Nero AirBurn sports an elegant interface and is very easy to use. You just need to select the files that you want to burn and send them via Wi-Fi to your PC where you have installed Nero 2015 software in order to burn them.
Overall, it’s a handy app for Android and iOS. But the catch, as mentioned above, you must purchase the desktop version of Nero by paying a premium.
