Orb Mover: Move Start Orb And Start Menu To Center Or Right Corner

Numerous tools have been released to customize the look and feel of Windows 7 Taskbar and Start menu. We have previously covered tools to add colors to taskbar buttons, change Start orb, change taskbar color, adjust taskbar transparency, hide taskbar buttons, remove notification area from taskbar, and hide taskbar.

Orb Mover is a new tool that lets you move the Start orb from the extreme left of the taskbar to the center or extreme right of the taskbar. The tool comes in handy for customization lovers who have been trying to move the Start menu and Taskbar.

 

 

A right-click on the taskbar shows hide the taskbar, change the default Start orb, open elevated command prompt, restart explorer, open explorer, and exit explorer options. An option is also available to automatically load Orb Mover with Windows.

And the best thing is, it’s a standalone utility, which doesn’t require an installation. It supports both x86 and x64 versions of Windows 7. If the orb disappears, at any point, while using the Orb Mover, simply open Task Manager, end OrbMover.exe process and then run the program again. To restore the original Orb and position, simply right-click on the Orb and then select Restore Default and Exit option.
