One of our readers has asked “How to put the volume icon back on the System Tray in Vista?”. I could have given simple reply via mail instead of this tutorial if I didn’t think, writing a simple tutorial will help other Vista users who are facing the same issue. Whenever, you can’t see the volume icon on System Tray, just follow the simple steps given below:*Right click on the empty space of the taskbar and select Properties.
*Switch to Notification Area tab.
*Under System icons, check the option named Volume.*Click Apply and close the window.
*Now you can see the Volume button on the System Tray area.
