Prevent USB Viruses In Windows With Free USB Firewall

If you use USB drives on unknown computers, be sure to install both antivirus and antispyware applications on your computer. I had already written the list of useful security applications for your USB drive. If you don’t like to install all the security applications, here is a small freeware called USB Firewall to protect your PC from USB viruses.

The program is not only straight forward but simple to use as well. Whenever you insert your virus infected USB drive to PC, USB Firewall utility shows the aurorun.inf file, which is the crucial file to execute any file automatically. Apart from this, USB Firewall also detects if a file autorun.inf exist in one of your system’s partition, removable file included.
USB Firewall also allows you terminate the process if already running with the help of autorun.inf file. Once you find out, you can also delete autorun.inf file and its application pointed to.
