One of the major features we miss in Windows by default is its disability to create portable document format (PDF) files from office or any other files. Although, there are many free utilities available, I have been using Primo PDF since last four months just because of its simplicity.

Apart from the ability to convert Microsoft Office files to PDF format, Primo PDF can convert over 300+ file types. You can create a password protected PDF file using this little utility. Primo PDF can even create e-book for you free. And there is an online version of Primo PDF to finish your work without installing Primo on your system.

How to use?
Primo PDF installs as a PDF printer. In other words, you can use Primo PDF to print your documents to PDF from any program on your computer.
1. From the menu bar, choose File>Print.
2. Select the Primo PDF printer from the drop down list of available printers and click OK.
3. The Primo PDF window appears.  Enter a name and location for the PDF file. You can also set other Primo PDF options at this time. See Configuring Primo PDF Options for details.
4. Click Create PDF.
