VHD Resizer is another useful tool from the makers of VMDK to VHD converter. The Resizer lets you resize VHDs and also allows you covert Microsoft Windows virtual hard drives between Dynamic and Fixes file types.
Though this was last updated back in 2007, it works fine on Windows 7 as well. Using this tool is simple. First input the the VHD file that you want to resize and then select the destination folder. Enter the new VHD file size and also file type before hitting resize button.
