Users of Windows always love to tweak and customize every part of Windows operating system. Start screen, one of the main attractions of Windows 8, comes with a number of features and is highly customizable as well. A lot of free utilities and guides are available to customize the Start screen.
In the past, we showed you how to create tiles on Start screen, reduce Start screen size, open Start screen within desktop, display time on Start screen, pin PC settings to Start screen, and set custom picture as Start screen background . Today, we are going to show you how to pin almost every file type to the Start screen.
With default settings, one can pin apps, webpages, folders, and drives to the Start screen but users aren’t allowed to pin libraries and other file types. If you want to make most out of your Start screen by pinning libraries and frequently used files, you should probably grab a copy of Start Screen Pinner.
