Submit Your Photography To Windows Personalization Galley And Get Featured In Windows 7 Themes
Posted October 7, 2011 – 9:59 am in: ThemesMicrosoft has been updating the official Windows 7 themes gallery to add new themes and desktop backgrounds. We have been using these wallpapers and themes created by talented artists for the past two years. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could share your talent and creativity with the world?
Yes, here is an opportunity to show your talent to the world. Microsoft is now allowing users to submit their art and photos to the official Windows personalization gallery. Selected photos will be featured in upcoming Windows themes.
Depending on the suitability of your works and how many pieces you submit, Microsoft may create an entire theme from your work. Microsoft may also combine photos from multiple artists to create a theme.
To be considered for the Windows gallery, your photo must be at least 1920 pixels wide by 1200 pixels tall (1920 x 1200) at 96 dots per inch. Do note that images can be larger than this size (1920 x 1200), but must not be smaller. You can send JPEG, GIF, BMP, or PNG pictures.
Don’t forget to include your name, a brief description of the art or photo, contact email and the address of your website (if you have one) in the email. Send your email to winpgal@microsoft.com. Please attach one image per email. That is, if you want to send six pictures, send six emails.
You can visit the official page for more information about the same.
