Library feature is an excellent feature present in Windows 7. Libraries are where you go to manage your documents, music, pictures, and other files. You can browse your files the same way you would in a folder or you can view your files arranged by properties like date, type, and author.

Although you can change a folder icon quickly in Windows 7, changing the libraries icon is not an easy task. If you want to customize your libraries icons (such as documents, music, pictures & videos), here is a small utility that allows you change the icons in a jiffy.

Library Icon Changer is a portable utility, which requires no installation. The program is simple and easy-to-use. Just download and extract the zip file to get the LibraryIconChanger (.exe) file.

To change a library icon, first select the library icon in the right pane and then select the new icon from left pane or a folder using select new icon from file button.

You can use the default icons present in Windows, or you can also use custom icons (must be in .ico format) as the replacement for default icons. Last but not least, it also lets you revert to the default icons with a single click.
